1. Overview

This website is operated by XIAOZHE. Throughout the website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to XIAOZHE.

XIAOZHE provides this website, including all information, content, features, tools, products, and services available through the website (collectively, the “Services”), subject to these Terms of Service.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer products and Services to you.

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them.

If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you should not access or use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence to place an order through the Services. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Services only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.

When creating an account or placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information.

You are responsible for:

Restricting unauthorized access to your account;
Reviewing and updating your account information;
Notifying us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

3. Products and Services

We sell lighting products, home electrical products, EV charging equipment, power supplies, accessories, and other products displayed on our website.

Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities.

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, materials, finishes, colors, images, and prices accurately. However:

Colors and finishes may appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting conditions, and production batches;
Product dimensions may be subject to minor manufacturing tolerances;
Product photographs may include decorative items that are not included with the purchase;
Packaging and non-material product details may change without notice;
Handmade, natural, glass, metal, or decorative materials may have minor variations.

Any variation must not materially change the advertised function, essential specification, safety, or overall nature of the product.

Critical specifications—including rated voltage, connector type, plug type, power configuration, installation method, dimensions, and environmental rating—should be reviewed before purchase. If you are uncertain whether a product is suitable for your intended use, please contact us before ordering.

We reserve the right to limit the sale of products or Services to particular persons, geographic regions, or jurisdictions where legally permitted.

4. Electrical Products and Installation Safety

Lighting products, EV charging equipment, power supplies, and other electrical products must be selected and installed correctly.

Before purchasing or installing an electrical product, you are responsible for checking:

Local voltage and frequency;
Plug or connector compatibility;
Electrical circuit capacity;
Dimming-system compatibility;
Indoor, outdoor, wet-location, or IP-rating requirements;
Applicable electrical and building regulations.

Products requiring hardwired installation should be installed by a qualified local electrician in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable laws, electrical codes, and building regulations.

XIAOZHE does not normally provide on-site installation services. Installation guides, videos, and one-to-one remote guidance may be available upon request. Remote guidance is general product assistance and does not replace inspection or installation by a qualified on-site electrician.

To the extent permitted by law, XIAOZHE is not responsible for damage caused by:

Improper or unauthorized installation;
Use outside the product’s rated voltage or specifications;
Incompatible wiring, switches, dimmers, connectors, or charging systems;
Unauthorized modification or disassembly;
External power surges or unstable electrical supply;
Use of a non-waterproof product in a wet or unsuitable environment;
Failure to follow installation, operation, or safety instructions.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for a product defect, inaccurate instruction, or other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Product Availability

Product availability is not guaranteed until your order has been accepted and processed.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may:

Contact you with a revised dispatch estimate;
Offer a suitable alternative;
Remove the unavailable product and refund the amount paid for it;
Cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

6. Orders and Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not automatically mean that we have accepted it.

We may review an order for payment authorization, product availability, shipping restrictions, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or other legitimate business reasons.

An order is accepted when we confirm fulfillment or dispatch, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including when:

Product or pricing information contains a material error;
Payment cannot be authorized or verified;
The product is unavailable;
We cannot deliver to the address provided;
The order appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or intended for unlawful resale;
Fulfilling the order would violate applicable law.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

7. Prices, Currency, and Payment

Product prices are displayed in the currency selected or shown on the website.

Depending on your location and payment provider, the final amount charged may be affected by currency conversion, card issuer fees, bank fees, taxes, customs duties, or other charges imposed by third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed product prices do not include:

Shipping charges;
Import duties;
Customs clearance charges;
Local taxes or VAT not collected at checkout;
Installation charges;
Bank or currency-conversion fees.

The complete amount collected by XIAOZHE will be shown at checkout before payment.

You agree to provide valid and accurate payment and billing information and confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payment processing is handled by Shopify and authorized third-party payment providers. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply.

8. Pricing and Information Errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices and product information are accurate. However, typographical, technical, pricing, inventory, or other errors may occasionally occur.

If an order is affected by a material pricing or product-information error, we may contact you to:

Confirm whether you wish to proceed with the corrected information;
Offer an appropriate alternative;
Cancel the affected item or order and issue a full refund.

We will not charge a corrected higher price without your agreement.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping destinations, eligibility, costs, processing times, tracking, customs responsibilities, and delivery estimates are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Free standard shipping is available only for eligible orders, products, and destinations. Eligibility and the final shipping charge are displayed at checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of customs inspections, severe weather, carrier disruption, remote delivery locations, public holidays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Risk of loss and legal title transfer in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms changes any mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery or loss in transit.

10. Duties and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or clearance charges imposed by the destination country or region.

Unless these charges are expressly included or collected at checkout, they are the customer’s responsibility.

Customers are responsible for checking local import rules and ensuring that ordered products can lawfully be imported and used at the destination.

XIAOZHE does not control customs inspections, clearance times, or fees imposed by local authorities.

11. Delivery Inspection and Damage

Please inspect the product and packaging promptly after delivery.

If an order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide:

Your order number;
Clear photographs or videos of the product;
A photograph of the shipping label;
Photographs of the outer packaging;
A description of the problem.

Reporting visible shipping damage within 48 hours helps us investigate the issue with the carrier. This reporting period does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Signing for or accepting a package does not automatically waive your right to report concealed shipping damage or a defective product.

12. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, and order cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Standard return requests must generally be submitted within 15 days after receipt of the complete order, subject to the conditions and exceptions stated in that policy.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different product, size, color, or specification, you may place a new order and return the original eligible product through the applicable return process.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect products may qualify for replacement parts, a replacement product, a refund, or another appropriate remedy after verification.

Orders may be cancelled before fulfillment or dispatch where possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation after processing has begun. Once dispatched, an order must normally be handled through the return process.

These provisions do not limit any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, return, refund, or consumer-guarantee rights available under applicable law.

13. Product Warranty

Warranty coverage is governed by our Warranty Policy and the warranty information shown on the relevant product page.

Our general warranty categories are:

Eligible indoor and outdoor lighting: 5-year limited warranty;
Candle warmers, night lights, LED strips, drivers, and power supplies: 3-year limited warranty;
Eligible EV charging equipment: 5-year limited warranty.

The applicable warranty period begins from the delivery date unless otherwise stated.

Warranty coverage may exclude damage caused by improper installation, misuse, unsuitable electrical conditions, unauthorized modification, accidents, normal wear, or failure to follow product instructions.

The exact coverage, exclusions, claim requirements, and available remedies are described in the Warranty Policy.

A commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, any mandatory legal guarantee or consumer right available under applicable law.

14. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, comment, suggestion, or other content through the Services, you confirm that:

You own the content or have permission to submit it;
The content is accurate and based on a genuine experience;
The content does not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights;
The content is not unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or misleading;
The content does not contain malicious software or unauthorized advertising.

You grant XIAOZHE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, format, and publish submitted content for operating and promoting the Services, subject to applicable law.

We may remove user content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We are not required to publish every submitted review.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including text, product descriptions, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, icons, layouts, technical illustrations, and software—are owned by or licensed to XIAOZHE and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the website only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

Without prior written permission, you may not:

Copy or republish substantial website content;
Reproduce product photographs or technical drawings for commercial use;
Use XIAOZHE branding in a misleading manner;
Scrape, extract, or systematically collect website content;
Modify, distribute, sell, or exploit the website or its content.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

16. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services:

For unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious purposes;

Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify also collects and processes certain personal information relating to your use of the Services.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

We aim to provide accurate, secure, and reliable Services. However, the website may occasionally be interrupted, delayed, unavailable, or contain technical errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

This disclaimer does not apply to:

Express product warranties provided by XIAOZHE;
Mandatory legal guarantees;
Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded;
Liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, XIAOZHE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products where such losses were not reasonably foreseeable.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a particular product or order will not exceed the amount paid for that product or order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
Death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded;
Willful misconduct or gross negligence where applicable;
Defective products where liability cannot be excluded;
Breach of mandatory consumer rights;
Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable losses, claims, or expenses incurred by XIAOZHE as a direct result of your unlawful use of the Services, intentional violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights.

This section does not make a consumer responsible for losses caused by a defective product, inaccurate information, XIAOZHE’s negligence, or conduct for which responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Termination

These Terms remain effective while you use the Services.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that you have materially violated these Terms, used the Services unlawfully, engaged in fraud, or created a security risk.

Termination does not affect rights, payment obligations, returns, warranties, or liabilities that arose before termination.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

24. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only if it is made in writing and applies only to the specific matter stated.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies and information incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and XIAOZHE regarding your use of the Services and your purchases from us.

The referenced policies include our:

Product-specific descriptions, specifications, and warranty terms also form part of the agreement for the relevant product.

26. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms and transactions through the Services are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the laws of your country or region of residence.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring a claim before a court or authority that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer protection law.

Before beginning formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, policies, business practices, or legal requirements.

The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply from the date of publication unless another effective date is stated. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights relating to an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.
