Essential preparation and safety information for XIAOZHE lighting and EV charging equipment. This page provides general product guidance and does not replace professional installation.

!

Important Safety Information

Hardwired lighting and EV charging equipment should be installed, tested and commissioned by a qualified local electrician in accordance with the product instructions and applicable electrical and building regulations. Do not install or use a damaged product.

Choose Your Product Type

Installation preparation varies according to the product, electrical supply and location.

01 / LIGHTING

Lighting Installation

Check fixture dimensions, voltage, mounting surface, wiring, dimming compatibility, suspension height and environmental rating.

02 / EV CHARGING

EV Charger Installation

Confirm connector type, charger output, voltage, phase, circuit capacity, grounding, protection and installation location.

Before Installation

Complete these checks before any installation work begins.

1

Inspect the Package

Check the product and accessories for damage or missing components. Do not install a damaged product.

2

Confirm Specifications

Compare the product label and manual with the ordered voltage, power, connector and other specifications.

3

Check the Location

Confirm dimensions, mounting strength, clearance, cable route, weather exposure and operating environment.

4

Use a Qualified Electrician

Arrange professional installation according to local electrical and building requirements.

Lighting Installation Preparation

Always follow the instructions supplied with the individual fixture.

Ceiling Lights

Confirm that the junction box, bracket and mounting surface can securely support the fixture.

Pendant Lights

Check ceiling height, suspension length and clearance above tables, counters and walkways.

Wall Lights

Confirm mounting height, cable position, direction and clearance around doors and furniture.

Confirm the mounting structure, suspension hardware, safe working load, height and secure cable routing.

EV Charger Safety

Professional Installation and Commissioning Required

EV charging equipment can create a significant continuous electrical load. Installation suitability must be assessed at the property by a qualified local electrician.

Electrical Supply

Confirm voltage, frequency, single-phase or three-phase supply and available electrical capacity.

Dedicated Circuit

The electrician should determine the required circuit, breaker, cable size and protective devices.

Grounding & Protection

Grounding, leakage protection and other safety measures must comply with local requirements.

Installation Location

Confirm mounting strength, cable reach, ventilation, weather exposure and protection from impact or flooding.

Vehicle Compatibility

Confirm Type 2, SAE J1772 or NACS and the vehicle’s maximum AC charging capacity.

Final Testing

The installer should complete inspection, configuration, commissioning and operational safety testing.
