Lighting & EV Charging Shopping Guide
Choose lighting and home EV charging equipment with greater confidence. Review size, brightness, voltage, connector type, installation and compatibility before ordering.
Shop Lighting by Space
Start with where your new light will be installed.
Choose Your Light in 4 Steps
A simple process for finding a suitable fixture.
Choose the Space
Consider the room, ceiling height, intended activity and whether the location is dry, damp or outdoors.
Measure the Area
Check room dimensions, mounting space, cut-out size, suspension height and required clearance.
Select the Light
Compare lumen output, wattage, colour temperature, CRI, beam angle and glare control.
Check Installation
Confirm voltage, mounting method, product dimensions, dimming compatibility and IP rating.
Lighting Buying Tips
Important specifications to check before purchasing.
Warm or Cool Light?
2700K–3000K feels warm and relaxed. 4000K provides clean, practical light. 5000K–6000K is commonly used for task and industrial spaces.
Lumens & Watts
Lumens describe visible light output. Watts describe power consumption. Compare both rather than using wattage alone.
Check the CRI
Higher CRI lighting displays colours more naturally and is useful in homes, galleries, shops, hospitality and workspaces.
Dimming
A fixture is dimmable only when the product page says so. A compatible driver, bulb or wall dimmer may also be required.
Bulb or Integrated LED?
Integrated fixtures contain a built-in LED source. Replaceable bulb fixtures require the correct base, voltage and wattage.
Indoor or Outdoor?
Use a fixture in wet or exposed locations only when its product page states a suitable IP rating and installation environment.
Hardwired lighting should be installed by a qualified local electrician. XIAOZHE does not normally provide on-site installation. Manuals, videos and one-to-one remote product guidance may be available upon request.
Choose the Right Charger for Your Vehicle and Home
A compatible connector is only the beginning. Charging power, electrical phase, circuit capacity, installation and smart functions must also be confirmed.
Explore EV ChargingChoose an EV Charger in 4 Steps
Confirm compatibility before selecting smart features.
Check the Connector
Confirm whether your vehicle requires Type 2, SAE J1772 or NACS. Vehicle brand alone does not confirm compatibility.
Choose the Power
Compare 7kW, 11kW or 22kW with the maximum AC charging rate supported by your vehicle.
Check the Supply
Confirm local voltage, single-phase or three-phase supply, circuit capacity and protective devices.
Choose the Features
Confirm cable length, app, Wi-Fi, RFID, scheduling, adjustable current and outdoor rating.
EV Connector Overview
Always verify the vehicle charging port and exact charger configuration before ordering.
| Connector | Common Use | What to Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Type 2 | Europe and other supported regions | Vehicle inlet, charger mode, voltage and local electrical requirements. |
| SAE J1772 | Many North American electric vehicles | Vehicle port, charger voltage and supported charging current. |
| NACS | Compatible Tesla and other North American vehicles | Vehicle model, model year and native NACS support. |
Understanding Charging Power
The rated output is the charger’s maximum supported output under suitable conditions. Actual charging speed may be lower.
| Output | Typical Supply Consideration | Important Check |
|---|---|---|
| 7kW | Commonly associated with a suitable single-phase supply | Confirm vehicle AC limit, voltage, current and circuit capacity. |
| 11kW | May require a compatible three-phase supply | Confirm that both the vehicle and property support the selected configuration. |
| 22kW | Commonly requires suitable three-phase capacity | Confirm vehicle acceptance rate and obtain approval from a qualified electrician. |
Charging speed can be limited by the vehicle’s onboard charger, electrical supply, circuit capacity, temperature, battery condition and charging-management system.
EV Charger Pre-Purchase Checklist
Send this information to us if you need help identifying a suitable product option.
Hardwired EV charging equipment should be installed, tested and commissioned by a qualified local electrician. XIAOZHE may provide one-to-one remote product guidance, but remote guidance does not replace on-site installation or safety testing.
Shopping Guide FAQ
Important information before placing your order.
Are your products suitable for US and European voltage?
Voltage specifications vary by product. Check the input voltage, frequency, plug, connector and phase shown on the individual product page before ordering.
Are lighting products dimmable?
Dimming varies by product. A compatible dimmer, LED driver or bulb may be required. Only treat a product as dimmable when this is specifically stated on its product page.
Do lighting products include bulbs?
Integrated LED fixtures contain the light source. Replaceable-bulb fixtures may or may not include a bulb. Check the package contents on the relevant product page.
Will one EV charger work with every vehicle?
No. Compatibility depends on the vehicle connector, maximum AC charging capacity, charger output, voltage, electrical phase and installation.
Do all EV chargers include an app or Wi-Fi?
No. Smart functions vary by model. App, Wi-Fi, RFID, scheduling or adjustable current are included only when specifically stated on the product page.
Do you provide installation services?
XIAOZHE does not normally provide on-site installation. Manuals, videos and one-to-one remote product guidance may be available. Hardwired electrical products should be installed by a qualified local electrician.
What warranty do you provide?
Eligible indoor and outdoor lighting and EV charging equipment include a 5-year limited warranty. Candle warmers, night lights, LED strips, drivers and power supplies include a 3-year limited warranty. Check the product page and Warranty Policy.
Can I return an unsuitable product?
